Our History

Established in 2021 amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, the Rotary Club of Kericho has rapidly become a dynamic and impactful organization, dedicated to serving the local community and beyond. As a member of the Rotary International network, the club leverages collaboration to address pressing societal challenges.

At its core, the Rotary Club of Kericho is committed to the Rotary values of service, fellowship, and integrity. The club's initiatives include supporting people with disabilities, a School Feeding Program for underprivileged students, Mother and Child Health Programs, Menstrual Health Programs, and Environment Conservation.

Under the leadership of Presidents like Oscar Lumire, Carol Muriithi, and Yvonne Kimutai Renaux, the club has secured grants such as the District's Mother and Child grant, a Global Grant for equipping Turi Dispensary, and Menstrual Health Program grants. These successes have amplified the club's impact, benefiting countless individuals in the region.

The club's growth and accomplishments are driven by the dedication and passion of its diverse members, united by a shared vision of positive community impact. Through fellowship and collaboration, the club fosters an inclusive environment that empowers its members to thrive and make a tangible difference.
